Last weekend we went to the movies and saw Venom, which I was very skeptical about since I’m not really a fan of superhero movies or any movies like that. The movie was nothing like I thought it’d be, I actually really enjoyed it. I was laughing pretty much the whole movie and found myself on the edge of my seat a few times. This movie wasn’t your typical superhero (supervillain?) movie, the plot wasn’t too predictable, and the dialogue was hilarious. Even if you’re not a huge fan of hero movies but appreciate goofy movies, I’d recommend seeing Venom.

Last weekend I was very excited to see Venom, I have always been a big fan of marvel movies and they never disappoint. When I first watched the trailer I was expecting Venom to be a villain and did not expect him to be a likable character. In the Marvel comics Venom goes up against Spider Man, so I thought they would make him evil because Spider Man is a very popular and liked character. However I was pleasantly surprised by how funny and likable Venom and Eddie were. I liked how they communicated with each other in a humorous way adding comedy to the thrilling movie. I also thought Tom Hardy was the perfect actor for this part. Overall the movie was great, even if Marvel movies aren’t your thing, because it didn’t involve any other marvel characters or events.
